Oakland County Parks Summer Spectacular
Oakland County Parks Summer Spectacular at Catalpa Oaks County Park (248-858-0916). Join Oakland County Parks for
Summer Spectacular, an evening of free outdoor fun with DJ music, make-your-own kite, arts and crafts, kite flying, face painting, a balloon artist and food trucks. No registration is necessary. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Come Out and Play
Come Out and Play – at Pontiac Oaks. Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out & Play
event. During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. Wixom Fireworks
Wixom Fireworks – at Sibley Park – Fireworks are scheduled for dusk at Sibley Park and are annually held on the 4th Thursday of every June. For more info, call 248-624-2850. Hosted by the City of Wixom.

Sylvan Lake Fireworks
Sylvan Lake Fireworks at Dusk – Displayed over Sylvan Lake. Best viewing spots along the lake closest to Downtown Sylvan Lake.
Oakland County Boat Club Fireworks shot over Sylvan Lake. Fireworks start at dusk. There is no parking on the streets. Paid parking will be available at the Community Center. Buy a parking pass from City Hall starting in June. Hosted by the City of Sylvan Lake and the Oakland County Boat Club.

Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

Night of the Dragon – A Metroparks medieval festival! Enjoy live entertainment, inflatable jousting, bounce house, crafts, food & drink for purchase, strolling performers, medieval costumes and contests, skywatching meteor showers, and more! This event is FREE to attend. No pre-registration required. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

Oakland County Parks FREE Admission Day – All Oakland County Parks Division Parks (see list in description). Oakland County Parks and Recreation offers complimentary park entry to all guests. Addison Oaks Park/Day Use, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks Park, Lyon Oaks Park/Day Use, Lyon Oaks Dog Park, Orion Oaks Park/Day Use, Orion Oaks Dog Park, Red Oaks Dog Park, Rose Oaks. Visitors can enjoy free daily park entry with access to natural areas, trails, dog parks and all park amenities.
