Troy Maple Syrup Time
Troy Maple Syrup Time – at Stage Nature Center. Take a guided tour through the sugar bush of the Stage Nature Center to discover how maple trees make sugar and how people have harvested it through the ages. This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. Tour includes a visit to the sugar shed to see a wood-stoked evaporator in action and activities to learn more about syrup making. Everyone will sample maple treats and children will have an opportunity to make a simple craft. Shop for Michigan-made maple syrup, cream, candy and more. Tours every 15 minutes. Lake Orion / Orion Twp Easter Bunny Bop – at Orion Center 9:30a, 11a, & 12:30p (3 different sessions)
Photo visit with a special bunny, refreshments, craft projects an egg hunt with toys and candy-stuffed eggs and a few other surprises. Bring your own basket for filling with candy and prizes. Youth will be broken down by age for equal opportunity hunting for all. Pre-registration required, spaces are limited. Egg hunt will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather. American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 9222 are hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony at City Hall. Following the ceremony, the Legion will host a post-ceremony at noon. Hosted by the City of Berkley. Hosted by the Berkley American Legion Stanley J. Fons Post 374.

Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night
Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night – Berkley, Michigan Parks and Rec is holding Free Summer Outdoor Movie Night at Community Park (next to the Berkley Community Center). They are also hosting another outdoor movie on the Berkley Community Center Lawn. The movies start at dusk but the fun starts at 6p. Often there is plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. Often there have been inflatables and concessions stands before the movie starts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! This movie is part of Berkley Parks and Rec’s Summer Fest. Summer Fest a series of fun events for people of all ages that reside in Berkley.
