Troy Maple Syrup Time – at Stage Nature Center. Take a guided tour through the sugar bush of the Stage Nature Center to discover how maple trees make sugar and how people have harvested it through the ages. This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. Tour includes a visit to the sugar shed to see a wood-stoked evaporator in action and activities to learn more about syrup making. Everyone will sample maple treats and children will have an opportunity to make a simple craft. Shop for Michigan-made maple syrup, cream, candy and more. Tours every 15 minutes. Downtown Birmingham Spring Stroll – The event will take place between 11a & 3p with staggered start times.
Registered attendees should arrive at the designated check-in location during their assigned time to receive an event bag, coloring activity sheet and list of participating merchants. Attendees are invited to visit the participating merchants of their choice, collect giveaways and complete the activity sheet.
