Clarkston Movies in the Park and Clarkston Movies Wheels, & Reels Drive-In Movies – Enjoy movie nights in Clarkston MI under the stars across a variety of Clarkston parks and locations. Outdoor movie night schedule. These events are held by Independence Twp Parks & Recreation. Movies will part of the the Movies in the Park movie series and Movies, Wheels & Reels drive-in movie series.
Movies in the Park will be held at 2 locations on various dates throughout the summer and fall at Clintonwood Park and Deer Lake Beach. All movies begin at dusk unless otherwise noted. These movies require pre-registration and cost $10 per family of up to 6 people or $10 per car for the drive-in movies. You can pre-register HERE. Dates, times, and movie schedule are listed below.

Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens Perennial Plant Sale – A large variety of Michigan grown perennials, including many from the Meadow Brook Hall gardens, will be available at very reasonable prices. Credit cards accepted. This is a FREE event to attend. MORE INFO.

Oakland County Parks will mark the Juneteenth holiday by waiving vehicle entry fees on Monday, June 19. Oakland County Parks’ Mobile Recreation Unit will also be participating in local celebration and commemoration events honoring Juneteenth throughout Oakland County with fun, free activities such as inflatables, games, climbing towers and more.
Visitors can enjoy access to general park activities, including trails, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, beaches and fishing spots from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (unless otherwise posted).
