Troy Historic Village Victorian Christmas
Troy Historic Village Victorian Christmas – Experience Christmas during the 1850s-60s. Costumed reenactors will perform activities of the season like playing games, decorating, exchanging gifts, and calling on friends. Also enjoy music, kids’ crafts, Christmas traditions mini-exhibit, and hot cider and cocoa. Hours are Friday 6p-8p, Saturday 10a–1p & 5p-8p, Sunday 12p–3p. Fun for all ages. $12. Take a guided tour through the sugar bush of the Stage Nature Center to discover how maple trees make sugar and how people have harvested it through the ages. This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. Tour includes a visit to the sugar shed to see a wood-stoked evaporator in action and activities to learn more about syrup making.
