Southfield Daddy Daughter Dance
Southfield Daddy Daughter Dance – Young ladies ages 2-14 and younger are invited to dress their best for this special night. Each girl will receive a special gift. Please dress your best for this special night of dancing and refreshments. Don’t forget your camera to catch all the fun and special moments. Call 248-796-4620 for cost info and to register. You must be pre-registered to attend. There are NO ticket sales at the door. Hosted by the City of Southfield Parks & Rec Department.

Indian Springs Preschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade
Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

staff, and preview Skull Island camps at this fun event. Kids can try out the zip lines, fish, climb on the climbing walls & pirate ships, and more. Pontoon Boat ride shuttles run all day to and from the camp. Check out Skull Island for FREE.

Geary Park Skate Jam
Geary Park Skate Jam at Geary Skate Park. Skate contests presented by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. This event will feature
competitions in 4 categories: skateboarding, inline skating, BMX, and scooters. Participants will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category.
