Troy Cooperative Preschool Open House
Troy Cooperative Preschool Open House – Stop by and learn more about Troy Cooperative Preschool. Families will have the opportunity to meet the TCP staff and other parents, while children explore the classrooms. Learn more about co-op preschools and the benefits to children and families. Interested families will be able to register onsite for the 2024-2025 school year. Hosted by Troy Cooperative Preschool.
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

Geary Park Skate Jam
Geary Park Skate Jam at Geary Skate Park. Skate contests presented by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. This event will feature
competitions in 4 categories: skateboarding, inline skating, BMX, and scooters. Participants will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category.
