Kensington Metropark Chickadee Chow Down – at Kensington Metropark (810-227-8910, metroparks.com)
Bundle up and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Around the Nature Center, a variety of winter songbirds will eagerly fly to your hand for seeds. Learn how to identify the birds you might feed, and how to properly feed songbirds in the park. Then take a short, guided walk along a mixed gravel path to meet your new feathered friends. Seed provided. Bring your camera. Lightly colored gloves or mittens are recommended for best results. This entire program is outdoors so dress warmly. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult / Under 2 FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.

Collect eggs to trade for goodies, make a craft, get your EGGSercise with a HOPstacle course, and play carnival-style games with your family. Egg collection at Spring Egg Hunt is structured, with each family collecting eggs in a designated lane. Pre-registration required at www.troyhistoricvillage.org.

filled with candy, tokens, and surprises. Paradise Park offers a lunch buffet after the egg hunt.
