Highland Kris Kringle Market

Highland Kris Kringle Market & Tree Lighting will have the Kris Kringle Market from 5p-9p and the tree lighting at 7p. Event will be held at Veteran’s Park (Livingston and John St). Annual tree-lighting ceremony features caroling, light refreshments, crafts, and a visit from Santa Claus. After Santa arrival, activities take place across the street at 205 W Livingston. Duck Lake Pines Park Egg Hunt – a Huron Valley Egg Hunt. Join the Easter Bunny for photos, face painting, goodie bags and more Easter fun. Bring your camera. Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Beverly Hills Memorial Day Parade and Carnival – The parade begins at 11a in the east parking lot of Groves High School, travels north on Evergreen to Beverly and concludes at Beverly Park. Carnival follows the Parade at Beverly Park from noon-2p. For more info, visit villageofbeverlyhills.com

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
