Beverly Hills Winter Family Fun Day – Winter Family Fun Day is FREE! This is now a pop-up event meaning the Village of Beverly Hills will announce 2023 dates in advance “weather permitting”. Activities include – sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, warm drinks, a snow cave, winter golf, winter softball and snacks in the pavilion by the fire.
Acacia Park Cemetery Trunk or Treat – You are invited and encouraged to attend Acacia Park’s annual Trunk or Treat. Come in costume – prizes will be awarded for the best costume for children, adults, and pets. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Acacia Park Cemetery.
Heritage Park Nature Center Thanksgiving Hike and Seek – 1p-2p OR 2p-3p (248-536-5617) Enjoy a guided hike and search for local plants and animals. Make a fall-themed craft to take home. $3. Santa Visits at Stage Nature Center
Santa Visits at Stage Nature Center is Hosted by the Troy Nature Society. Visit times vary. The visits will take place outside, weather permitting. Bring your letter with a return address for Santa to take with him to the North Pole. Santa will send a letter back to you. At the visit, each child will receive the materials and directions for a special craft to make at home and a special gift bag from Santa. Ages 3-8. $12. Troy Maple Syrup Time – at Stage Nature Center. Take a guided tour through the sugar bush of the Stage Nature Center to discover how maple trees make sugar and how people have harvested it through the ages. This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. Tour includes a visit to the sugar shed to see a wood-stoked evaporator in action and activities to learn more about syrup making. Everyone will sample maple treats and children will have an opportunity to make a simple craft. Shop for Michigan-made maple syrup, cream, candy and more. Tours every 15 minutes. Witness the process of collecting sap and boiling it down over a campfire. Enjoy a free syrup treat. Syrup products and sugaring supplies will be available for participants to purchase. All ages. $7. Beverly Hills Memorial Day Parade
Beverly Hills Memorial Day Parade and Carnival – The parade begins at 11a in the east parking lot of Groves High School, travels north on Evergreen to Beverly and concludes at Beverly Park. Carnival follows the Parade at Beverly Park from noon-2p. For more info, visit villageofbeverlyhills.com
