Berkley Preschool Open House – Ascension of Christ Child Care Center Preschool Open House. Meet the teachers, tour the classrooms, and learn about our play based, Christ-centered, school readiness programs. Ascension offers programs from 6 weeks – Pre-K. This is a FREE event to attend. Hosted by Ascension of Christ Preschool.
Kensington Metropark Chickadee Chow Down
Kensington Metropark Chickadee Chow Down – at Kensington Metropark (810-227-8910, metroparks.com)
Bundle up and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Around the Nature Center, a variety of winter songbirds will eagerly fly to your hand for seeds. Learn how to identify the birds you might feed, and how to properly feed songbirds in the park. Then take a short, guided walk along a mixed gravel path to meet your new feathered friends. Seed provided. Bring your camera. Lightly colored gloves or mittens are recommended for best results. This entire program is outdoors so dress warmly. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult / Under 2 FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.
Troy Cooperative Preschool Open House
Troy Cooperative Preschool Open House – Stop by and learn more about Troy Cooperative Preschool. Families will have the opportunity to meet the TCP staff and other parents, while children explore the classrooms. Learn more about co-op preschools and the benefits to children and families. Interested families will be able to register onsite for the 2024-2025 school year. Hosted by Troy Cooperative Preschool.

Homeschool Nature Club is a monthly drop off program geared towards homeschool children ages 7-14 years old. The third Thursday of each month will cover a different topic with a lesson, hike, fun experiments, and activities. This is a great chance to supplement your at-home learning. Ages 7-14. $10 Child. Keep an eye out for our favorite busy bunny getting ready for Easter. Bring your camera to capture photos along the way. Please bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. All ages event. $6 per person.
