South Lyon Daddy Daughter Dance – 3p-5p or 6p-8p (2 sessions to choose from). Open to non-residents. 70s Theme. The dance is broken down into two time slots; 3-5pm and 6-8pm. SLARA recommends that children 6 & under sign up for the first time slot. Children 7+ sign up for the 6-8pm time slot. This is only a recommendation, children 3+ are invited to both time slot. Oxford Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt
Oxford Teen Flashlight Egg Hunt – For ages 10-17. An egg hunt with a twist– you’ll need your flashlights to hunt in the dark! Don’t forget to check your batteries and basket to collect your eggs. Seymour Lake Park Easter Bunny Bonanza
Seymour Lake Park Easter Bunny Bonanza – Join the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Staff in welcoming the Easter Bunny with an Easter Egg Hunt and Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The event will begin with a traditional Easter Egg Hunt followed by the Ping-Pong Ball Drop. The bunny chopper will fly over and shower the kids with thousands of white Ping-Pong Balls. South Lyon Memorial Day Parade
South Lyon Memorial Day Parade – Organized by VFW Post 2502. The parade launches at 9a from Bartlett Elementary and makes its way down 10 Mile through downtown. The parade ends in the South Lyon Cemetery with a ceremony that commemorates the contributions and sacrifices of all veterans. Organized by South Lyon VFW Post 1224.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
