Village of Rochester Hills Santa Claus Pet Photos – The Village of Rochester Hills is hosting an event to benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind. Monetary donations will be accepted and go directly to Leader Dogs for the Blind (November 20). Reservations are required. Santa Paws Twelve Oaks Santa Pet Photos at Twelve Oaks Mall. Photo packages to choose from. Parking is available between Sears and Macy’s. All dogs & cats must be on a leash or in a carrier & up to date on shots. Pre-registration required. Must pre-register via eventbrite.com. Hosted by Twelve Oaks Mall.

Van Hoosen Farms Santa Claus Visits – After visiting with Santa and sharing that Christmas list, guests enjoy Santa’s favorite treat. Don’t forget your camera for pics. Advanced tickets only. Register at Eventbrite dot com. Hosted by rochesterhills.org.

Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park –  S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.

Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Guests will enjoy a 60-minute class with puppy playtime to follow. Guests are encouraged to register in advance by calling 248-453-5255. Hosted by Leader Dogs for the Blind & Hosted by TheVofRH.

Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on.
