Educational activities, crafting, and guided hikes will explore exciting ways to turn backyard fun into an eco-friendly adventure the whole family can enjoy. A new subject each month. Indian Springs Metropark Santa’s Candy Cane Trail – Take a stroll along the candy cane trail for a chance to meet a variety of winter characters. You’ll even get a magical chance to see Santa before his big night. Write your letters to Santa at home and stop by Santa’s mailbox during the program to deliver your letters. Each household will start at their registered time. All ages. $6 per person / Under 2 FREE. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. Riley Park Ice Rink Glow Skate

Riley Park Ice Rink Glow Skate – Riley Park Ice Skating Rink Special Event. Riley Park ice rink is open daily, weather permitting. Hours are daily from 10a-10p. Fun dance music with special disco lighting. $5 per person. The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Homeschool Nature Club is a monthly drop off program geared towards homeschool children ages 7-14 years old. The third Thursday of each month will cover a different topic with a lesson, hike, fun experiments, and activities. This is a great chance to supplement your at-home learning. Ages 7-14. $10 Child.
