Kensington Metropark Fall Festival – Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of harvest-themed activities for the whole family.

Tour the farm, view traditional demonstrations, and be entertained by Rosco the Clown. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch are available. Pumpkins prized according to size. All ages. FREE event. No pre-registration required. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

Downtown Wixom Trick or Treating, making crafts, and magician show. The first 200 children will receive a Spooktacular Treat Bag and the first 150 children will pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. this is a FREE event. Registration is not required. Hosted by the Downtown Wixom DDA.

Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

Enjoy a horse-drawn, tractor-drawn hayride, or wintery horse-drawn sleigh ride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. alongside Santa Claus for a festive photoshoot. Metroparks staff will capture the moment. Each group will receive one polaroid photo and several digital photos emailed after the event.
