Join WB Parks on the fishing pier located on Cass Lake to share in this great outdoor pastime. WB Parks will have staff on hand with a limited number of fishing poles provided for hands-on instruction to get you and your child started. Win a fishing themed prize if you catch the smallest or the largest fish. A simple craft and game will be available in case the fish aren’t biting. $9 resident / $11 non-resident. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
Rochester Free Summer Concerts
Rochester Free Summer Concerts – Municipal Park in Downtown Rochester Michigan will be hosting free concerts on Thursday evenings as part of the Rochester Kiwanas Club of Rochester “Music in the Park” series. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy free summer concerts.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the concerts. Concerts are held on the grounds of Municipal Park at the newly built Bebout Band Shell. For more information on acts, call 248-330-8966.
