Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Independence Oaks – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats
are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements. Founders Sports Park Kids Fishing Day
Founders Sports Park Kids Fishing Day – three, one-hour time slots available.Rod & reels, tackle box, bait and provided for registered kids ages 4-16 (and their families) at Founders Sports Park to enjoy a local suggested fishing spot.
