Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission
Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission – In celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, Cranbrook Art Museum gallery admission will be free for all. Though the upper galleries will be closed for an exhibition changeover, visit the lower level for the permanent exhibitions, “Constellations and Affinities: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection” and “Building Cranbrook: Saarinen in Michigan.” You can also stop by the FIKA Café for a snack and engage in artmaking activities for all ages in the lounge. Canterbury Village Michigan Taco Fest – three dates, five stages of entertainment. Enjoy delicious creations from Michigan’s Top Taco Vendors, plus margaritas, sangria, and over 40 tequilas. Contests for hot pepper eating, taco eating, cutest chihuahua, and more. Live entertainment to include Lucha Libre Wrestling, Mariachi Bands, Salsa Lessons, DJs, etc. Kids can have fun with monster truck rides, mechanical bull riding, and a Kids Zone. Come Out and Play
Come Out and Play – at Pontiac Oaks. Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out & Play
event. During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. No registration is required. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Sylvan Lake Fireworks at Dusk – Displayed over Sylvan Lake. Best viewing spots along the lake closest to Downtown Sylvan Lake.
Oakland County Boat Club Fireworks shot over Sylvan Lake. Fireworks start at dusk. There is no parking on the streets. Paid parking will be available at the Community Center. Buy a parking pass from City Hall starting in June. Hosted by the City of Sylvan Lake and the Oakland County Boat Club.
