DIY Street Fair Ferndale – Ferndale is hosting their free DIY Street Fair and Funky Art Fair in Downtown Ferndale.The DIY art event is a free 3-day event in Ferndale, Michigan where local artists, crafters, businesses, groups and organizations, musicians, restaurants, brewers and others. Kensington Weekend Hayrides – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Enjoy a horse-
drawn or tractor-drawn hayride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. All ages. $3 child / $5 adult. Pre-registration is not required. Tickets for weekend hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office.

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm
Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.

Northville Summer Concerts
Northville Summer Concerts – The Northville, Michigan Downtown Development Authority has announced their Summer Concert Series dates.
The Northville concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings from June through August at the Town Square (Located on Main Street across from the Marquis Theatre). Concerts start at 7p. These shows are all acoustic.

Yoga in the Rock Garden
Yoga in the Rock Garden – (8:40a registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations.
