Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission
Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission – In celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, Cranbrook Art Museum gallery admission will be free for all. Though the upper galleries will be closed for an exhibition changeover, visit the lower level for the permanent exhibitions, “Constellations and Affinities: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection” and “Building Cranbrook: Saarinen in Michigan.” You can also stop by the FIKA Café for a snack and engage in artmaking activities for all ages in the lounge. Waterford Summer Concerts at Hess Hathaway Park – Waterford, Michigan will be hosting free concerts as part of their Concerts in the Park series on Thursdays evenings throughout the summer.

Mt Clemens Fireworks
Mt Clemens Fireworks at Clinton Riverfront Park. The Independence Day Celebration fireworks will be launched at Dusk (approximately 10p) following a concert. Prime viewing is located throughout Downtown Mount Clemens near the Clinton River waterfront Downtown. NB Gratiot Ave, and the Crocker and Dickinson bridges are closed to vehicle traffic at approximately 7p. For more info, please call the Mt Clemens DDA at 586-469-4168. Whitmore Lake Fireworks
Whitmore Lake Fireworks – Fireworks over Whitmore Lake. Dunk tank, games, food vendors start at 7p in field across from Post
Office on main St. Fireworks @ 9:55p. Parking at Northfield Community Park is FREE but donations are encouraged to fund the fireworks. Rain date is July 4. For more info, visit wl4th.org.

Wade & Watch Movie Night
Wade & Watch Movie Night at Waterford Oaks Wavepool – Enjoy a family swim at the Waterford Oaks Wave Pool followed by a
showing of the movie Finding Dory during the Wade and Watch program. Gates open at 7 p.m. for swimming until dusk, then dry off and watch the movie on land, weather permitting. Bring a beach towel or blanket and a change of clothes for the movie. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food – charcoal grills are available (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid), but glass containers and alcohol are not allowed.
