Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony
Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony – Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362)
Lake Orion will host brief ceremonies at 9a at Eastlawn Cemetery (37 E Flint Road Lake Orion) and at 10a in Downtown Lake Orion at Children’s Park (201 S Broadway St #335, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A parade will be held in Downtown Lake Orion at Flint St & Broadway at 11a. Parade steps off at Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). Auburn Hills Memorial Day Parade
Auburn Hills Memorial Day Parade – American Legion Hall (96 Churchill Rd, Auburn Hills, MI, 248-852-4880)
The parade begins at the Avondale HS, proceeds to the MOMS Memorial, the Webster’s Cemetery and to the Auburn Hills American Legion where a community picnic will follow the parade and ceremony from noon-2p. For more info, call 248-852-4880. Hosted by American Legion Hill-Gazette Post 143.

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE.
