Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

They also have a great indoor bounce room & party room. On Fridays they open up their HUGE open bounce room for open jump for the low price of $9 per child (parents of children are FREE).

Kensington Metropark Chow Time at the Farm – Ever wanted to feed the donkeys or give the goats their

Pontiac Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival – in Downtown Pontiac (Saginaw Street). The community will convene various activities
with local vendors and residents for an independence day celebration. Freedom Day Festival activities will be held near Saginaw Street and will include music, a kid’s zone, food and beverages. Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm
Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE.
