Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Ticket holders for sessions cancelled by Meadow Brook Hall in the case of inclement weather will receive a full refund. $15. More Info / Book tickets.
South Lyon Memorial Day Parade
South Lyon Memorial Day Parade – Organized by VFW Post 2502. The parade launches at 9a from Bartlett Elementary and makes its way down 10 Mile through downtown. The parade ends in the South Lyon Cemetery with a ceremony that commemorates the contributions and sacrifices of all veterans. Organized by South Lyon VFW Post 1224.

Clarkston Memorial Day Event
Clarkston Memorial Day Event at Lakeview Cemetery. Event includes the Color Guard performing a rifle
volley, raising of the flag and the playing of Taps, the Clarkston High School Band and Ladies in Mourning. For more information, call 248-625-9912 after 4p. This year, due to concerns over closing the road, there will be no parade. Hosted by American Legion Campbell-Richmond Post 63 and Independence Twp.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program
Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Walled Lake Fireworks
Walled Lake Fireworks – Walled Lake’s Annual Market Day / Beach Party / Summer Festival on East Lake Drive and Mercer Beach is during the day. Shop local vendors, enjoy a day of live entertainment and food all alongside beautiful Walled Lake. Fireworks follow at Dusk. Commerce Lake Fireworks
Commerce Lake Fireworks – North Commerce Lake / Commerce Twp MI. Fireworks launched from a barge on the north end of Commerce Lake. The show will go on rain or shine! In the event of severe weather – the rain date will be the following day. Hosted by the North Commerce Fireworks Committee.
