Common Ground Art Fair Birmingham – More than 100 artists from across the country presenting their handmade artwork in ceramics, painting, photography, glass, jewelry, sculpture, wood and more. The Fair’s artist booths will be on Old Woodward south of Maple Road. Hosted by theguild.org. Saturday from 10a-6p and Sunday from 10a-5p.

Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Indian Springs Photos with Santa
Indian Springs Photos with Santa at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com). Pose
alongside Santa Claus for a festive photoshoot. Metroparks staff will capture the moment. Each group will receive one polaroid photo and several digital photos emailed after the event. Groups can have as few as one person or UP TO 5 people in the photo. All ages. $10 per group. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280.
