Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Stony Creek Metropark MetroBarks

Stony Creek Metropark MetroBarks: Paws in the Park – (586-781-4242, metroparks.com)

Explore Stony Creek Metropark with your furry friend. During each program, a park interpreter will meet you at different dog-friendly rustic trails throughout the park. Enjoy a nice hike through the woods as you discover the trees, wildflowers, and animals that call the Metroparks home. All ages event. $5 Adult / $3 Child. Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights

Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights – Southfield MI will host outdoor summer movie nights under the stars as part of their Family Fun Nights hosted periodically throughout the summer.

Previous years have offered fun for the whole family featuring a Kids’ Fun Area with loads of inflatables (you MUST wear socks to participate on the inflatables!), rock climbing wall and more.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit and enjoy the movie. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The first hour featuring events and activities at the gazebo such as musical entertainment or a magician. The 2nd hour is dedicated to giant slip & slide rides and wading down by Stony Creek.

Tickets are $5 per person. Everyone aged 2+ is required to purchase a ticket for entry.
