Clarkston Memorial Day Event

Clarkston Memorial Day Event at Lakeview Cemetery. Event includes the Color Guard performing a rifle

volley, raising of the flag and the playing of Taps, the Clarkston High School Band and Ladies in Mourning. For more information, call 248-625-9912 after 4p. This year, due to concerns over closing the road, there will be no parade. Hosted by American Legion Campbell-Richmond Post 63 and Independence Twp.

Detroit VegFest

Detroit VegFest – The state’s largest plant-based event returns to Eastern Market for a second year with nearly 100 vendors, including popular plant-based restaurants, specialty food items, and eco-friendly shopping. Village of Rochester Hills Music & Me Wednesdays

Village of Rochester Hills Music & Me Wednesdays at Festival Park. Children will be able to sing, dance, and

interact with each other during this fun morning performance. Bring a blanket and be prepared to be inspired by the musical talents of your children. This class is geared towards children birth to five years old. The program recognizes early childhood music for infants to kindergartners with adult involvement. These events are FREE event to attend. These events are hosted by Mrs Calissa from Sing Play Speak and by TheVofRH.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Downtown Detroit Ford Fireworks

Downtown Detroit Ford Fireworks  – at Detroit River / Downtown Detroit. Detroit’s skyline will once again dance with lights and music as The Parade Company and Ford bring you the 66th Annual Fireworks along the Detroit River.
