Wint Nature Center Early Childhood Hour Out (ECHO) – Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473)

Parents, grandparents, nannies and caregivers: Bring your little ones to Wint Nature Center for a caregiver-guided hour of activities, fun and friendship with local families on Thursdays. Participate in a caregiver-led activity provided by nature center staff. Enjoy coffee, tea and conversation with other caregivers. Strengthen community connections –conversation for adults; social interaction for babies, toddlers and young children. Optional activities may take place outside, dress for the weather. This program is free and no preregistration is necessary, although park entry fee applies for those without a vehicle permit. Caregivers must supervise children at all times. Siblings are welcome. Kids Night Out at Troy Gym at Troy Gym (248-816 8496, troygym.com). Every Saturday Night from 6:30p-

9:30p is Kids Night Out at Troy Gym. a great opportunity for parents to have a night off while their children burn off some energy at the gym. Pack a snack or small dollars/quarters for snack time. Space is limited, pre-enroll is preferred. $20 per child. More info at troygym.com.

Indian Springs Metropark Great Skeleton Scavenger Hunt

Indian Springs Metropark Great Skeleton Scavenger Hunt – Grab your family, friends and your courage and come find these skeletons in The Great Skeleton Scavenger Hunt. Your first stop is the Environmental Discovery Center where you will pick up your skeleton scavenger hunt map and form. Then head out on the nature trails to spot as many skeletons as you can. Remember to pay attention to what you see them doing. Bring your scavenger hunt form back to the Environmental Discovery Center to see if you won a prize. All Ages. FREE event. No pre-registration required.

Upland Hills Farm Fall Festival Weekends

Upland Hills Farm Fall Festival Weekends – Enjoy visiting the animals, magic show, farm demos, hayrides through the woods, storybook trail, pumpkin picking, pony rides, and cider & donuts during Harvest Festival weekends. Harvest Festival Weekends are Saturdays & Sundays from 10a-5p. Harvest Festival Weekends include hayrides. Evening hayrides are from 7p-10p on Fridays and Saturdays. Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest

Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Monster Mayhem Archery

Monster Mayhem Archery at Independence Oaks (248-625-0877, www.OaklandCountyParks.com)

Have fun shooting at 3D zombies and other monstrous targets during Monster Mayhem. General archery instruction will be provided. All equipment is included.
