Royal Oak Restaurant Week – Many Royal Oak favorites are participating and offering deep discounts to some of the finest

Three restaurants for Restaurant Week Royal Oak will be serving kids menus. Royal Oak is the first place in Metro Detroit to offer our youngest eaters a variety of options specifically for them. Kids menus are available at Lily’s Seafood Grill & Brewery, Lockharts BBQ, and Elephant and Co.

Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. 304 benefiting the Friends of Troy Seniors. They will have an assortment of gently used purses and jewelry at bargain prices. Donations will be taken beginning May 20 at the Troy Community Center front desk. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Troy Recreation.
Open Bounce at Inflatable Playspaces – 248-288-5888, www.inflatableplayspaces.com. Inflatable Playspaces rents inflatables and backyard party games of every kind. They also have a great indoor bounce room & party room. On Fridays they open up their HUGE open bounce room for open jump for the low price of $9 per child (parents of children are FREE).

Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission
Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission – In celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, Cranbrook Art Museum gallery admission will be free for all. Though the upper galleries will be closed for an exhibition changeover, visit the lower level for the permanent exhibitions, “Constellations and Affinities: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection” and “Building Cranbrook: Saarinen in Michigan.” You can also stop by the FIKA Café for a snack and engage in artmaking activities for all ages in the lounge.
