Southfield Free Summer Concerts
Southfield Free Summer Concerts – Southfield Gazebo Summer Concert Series, Eat to the Beat, Summer in the City, and Kids Concerts concerts are happening this summer. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!
You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Troy Community Center Used Jewelry & Purse Sale
Troy Community Center Used Jewelry & Purse Sale (248-524-3484). Stop in at this fundraising event in room
304 benefiting the Friends of Troy Seniors. They will have an assortment of gently used purses and jewelry at bargain prices. Donations will be taken beginning May 20 at the Troy Community Center front desk. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Troy Recreation.

Southfield where he will discuss Southfield history and the achievements of African Americans in Southfield.
Sunday Juneteenth Jubilee – This event is about honoring the heroes in your life and the enduring spirit of Juneteenth. Walk with Your Hero invites participants to reflect on the strength and inspiration provided by father figures, mentors, and community leaders. This special pre-event, coinciding with Father’s Day. Hosted by the City of Southfield & The City P&R Department. Hosted by Southfield Recreation.
Pontiac Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival
Pontiac Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival – in Downtown Pontiac (Saginaw Street). The community will convene various activities
with local vendors and residents for an independence day celebration. Freedom Day Festival activities will be held near Saginaw Street and will include music, a kid’s zone, food and beverages. The activities will begin with a parade and proceed with a fireworks display later in the evening. Hosted by the City of Pontiac. pointiac.mi.us

Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play
Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. Drop-in, no advance registration required. Free for fitness members, or purchase a day pass. Children under 3 are free. Fitness Center pass and membership info. Hosted by Troy Recreation.
Movie Nights in the D
Movie Nights in the D at Campus Martius Park – Enjoy award-winning films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during the DDP’s free outdoor movie series. Bring your own chair or blanket for a relaxing summer evening set in the heart of the city. Popcorn is available for purchase.
