Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
Ortonville Movie in the Park
Ortonville Movie in the Park – Brandon Twp Parks and Rec is hosting the annual Movie Night at the park. Enjoy a free outdoor summer movie in Ortonville in the evening. The fun starts at 7p with a variety of activities. Enjoy walking trails, playground, music, games on the sledding hill, s’mores, bouncehouses & inflatables, a petting zoo, and more. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the day and evening. The movie will start at dusk (at around 9p). Be sure to bring your own chairs and blankets!

Come Out and Play
Come Out and Play – at Pontiac Oaks. Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out & Play
event. During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. West Bloomfield Summer Concerts Marshbank Park – West Bloomfield Parks offers summer concerts for kids at Marshbank Park on Wednesday nights for families as part of Marshbank Music Summer Concert Series.
Kids and families are invited to stay after the concerts to meet the performers, play on Marshbank Park play structures.
