Sensory Santa at Oakland Mall – Individuals with all spectrums of special needs and their families are invited to a private photo session where extra care is taken to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs to make this a magical holiday experience. There is no admission charge. Photo packages will be available for purchase for the event. Pre-registration is required and can be booked online.
Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on. Hosted by Downtown Milford and the Milford Historical Society.

Harrison Twp Monarch & Hummingbird Festival – Lake St Clair Metropark Celebrate the smallest migrators, the Monarch Butterfly and the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Short, guided hikes throughout the festival in search of these amazing animals. There will be natural crafts, gardening tips, and monarch tagging demonstrations. All ages. FREE event.
