Kensington Metropark Fireworks – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks festival, bringing together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. Easter Hoops Basketball Game & Egg Hunt – Egg Hunt at 1:15p. Elementary Championship basketball game PLUS Easter Egg Hunt. Hunt starts at the PHS Football Field immediately following the game. The Easter Bunny will be present. Hosted by the City of Pontiac Recreation Department.

Loving Earth, Loving All – Earth Day Celebration – The event will offer free native flower seedlings, local seeds, information on invasive species, what to plant, pollinators, a tour of the ‘deer resistant’ garden, activities for youth, and more.
