South Lyon Labor Day Bridge Walk – held by the South Lyon Area Recreation Authority in conjunction with other Walks around the state modeled after the LD Mackinac Bridge Walk.
This all-ages event will run along the Huron Valley Rail Trail and through downtown South Lyon MI. It’s is a 2.5 mile walk.

Longway Planetarium Junteenth Celebraton of Liberation – The traditional Freedom March will start the festivities that provide spiritual covering with art activities for children, entertainment, performances, and a few special surprises. South Lyon Pumpkinfest in Downtown South Lyon (at 10 Mile Road and Pontiac Trail). Saturday from 10a-7p & Sunday from 11a-6p.
