Huntington Woods Halloween Pumpkin Carving & Storytime – Bring a pumpkin and carving utensils with you to carve your pumpkin. Riley Park Ice Rink Choco Valentine Skate – Hershey Kiss Bingo, s’mores, and skating! The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Hosted by the City of Farmington and the Farmington Community Library.
Troy Stage Nature Center “EGG”stravaganza – 4 timeslots to choose from. Families will take a short spring hike on their own and not with a guided group. At stops along the way, participate in egg games and activities. $14 per child. For more info, visit troynaturesociety.org.
Troy Stage Nature Center Earth Day Celebration – 86 Plastic will give a short program to highlight that less than 5% of what we send to recycling is truly repurposed. She will be presenting ways to replace common household (plastic) items for a more sustainable swap. Learn how to reduce waste, reuse what you have, and even save money. Lathrup Village Free Summer Concerts schedule. Lathrup Village hosts FREE concerts on select Wednesday evenings throughout the summer at Municipal Park (located behind Lathrup Village City Hall.
All guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, and picnic meals are welcome. In the event of severe weather, concerts will be relocated to the community room at City Hall. Concerts start at 7p and run to 8:30p.
