South Lyon Labor Day Bridge Walk – held by the South Lyon Area Recreation Authority in conjunction with other Walks around the state modeled after the LD Mackinac Bridge Walk.
This all-ages event will run along the Huron Valley Rail Trail and through downtown South Lyon MI. It’s is a 2.5 mile walk.

Santa’s Grand Arrival at Twelve Oaks – Enjoy special appearances by Mrs. Claus, performances by enchanted holiday characters, balloon twisters, face-painting and more. First 300 children will receive a FREE gift while supplies last. Hosted by shoptwelveoaks.com.
Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Lake Orion Dixieland Benefit Concert – The annual fundraising event will feature the North Oakland Dixieland Band performing traditional swing and jazz music.
