Kensington Metropark Fireworks – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks festival, bringing together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. Canterbury Village Cupcake Crawl – The shops of the village will each feature a different homemade cupcake for you to sample as you stroll the village. Be sure to vote for your favorite at the end. $2 entry at the door (includes all cupcakes). $5 Parking is required at all events in addition to the admission fee unless otherwise noted. Campus Martius Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Skate – What’s more romantic than gliding along the ice hand-in-hand with your sweetheart while enjoying majestic views of the Detroit skyline? The rink will be lit up with the colors of love and feel-good ballads and classic love songs will fill the air. All couples are welcome to join this celebration of love. Tickets and skate rentals may be purchased onsite at the park and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Admission – Adults $12, Under 12 $9.
