Kensington Metropark Fireworks – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks festival, bringing together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. Hazel Park Art Fair – Saturday from 11a-7p & Sunday from 11a-5p. Enjoy more than 100 artists and vendors of all mediums, live music, aerial performances from Shadow’s Circus & the D3 Circus Troupep, food vendors, beer tent, and more. This is a FREE event. Hazel Park Healing Hearts Mom to Mom Sale – $3 admission. Sale is 10-2 for the general public and 9-3 for sellers. The cost is $5 from 10-11 and $3 thereafter. If you are looking to buy or sell new or gently used baby and children clothing, maternity clothing, toys, nursery furniture, books, bikes, and anything else that is baby, child, or maternity related, this event is for you. This is the perfect Spring cleaning option for those who are selling, and the perfect seasonal stock-up stop for those who are buying! This event is also handicap accessible and stroller friendly. St Clair Shores Memorial Park Fireworks at Dusk at Memorial Park (Masonic and Jefferson)
Fireworks start at dusk. There is a cost per person (wristbands that are cheaper if you buy them in advance) if you wish to view them at Memorial Park. Pick up your wristbands and optional $5 parking pass from the SCS Parks & Rec Office. Wristbands $5 at the gate the day of the show. Parking passes are limited. Greenfield Village Fireworks – Greenfield Village Salute to America Fireworks. Concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture featuring the historic cannon of Loomis Battery. Fireworks display accompanied by live patriotic music to immediately follow. Tickets to Salute to America are available online, through The Henry Ford Call Center (open 7 days a week, 9a-5p) 313-982-6001 and at all admissions counters.
Lexington Fireworks – Lexington Stare Harbor will glow with fireworks at dusk. The annual parade will follow on July 1 at 11a Music, entertainment and parade kick off the festivities. For more info, visit www.lexingtonmichigan.org
