Lake Orion Dixieland Benefit Concert – The annual fundraising event will feature the North Oakland Dixieland Band performing traditional swing and jazz music. Get outside, explore and have fun with this monthly program for children 7-12 years old at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center.Learn about birds, starting fires, stalking animals or catching insects, each month will focus on connecting with the world around us, deepening naturalist knowledge and learning new outdoor skills. Troy Sports Day – Conveniently held at Troy High School, local youth sports organizations will have information and representatives to answer your questions and provide detailed information on their leagues. Canterbury Village Cupcake Crawl – The shops of the village will each feature a different homemade cupcake for you to sample as you stroll the village. Be sure to vote for your favorite at the end. $2 entry at the door (includes all cupcakes). $5 Parking is required at all events in addition to the admission fee unless otherwise noted.
