Kensington Metropark Fireworks – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks festival, bringing together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. Whitmore Lake Halloween Mystery Movie – at Dusk at Northfield Community Park (next to the Whitmore Lake Post Office). Vote for your favorite family Halloween movie and then come and see which movie was selected. Pizza and snacks for sale. For more info, visit northfieldmi.gov.
Troy Community Center Trivia Night – Gather your team for a Friday night of friendly trivia competition. Registration fee includes dinner (pizza, breadsticks, salad), refreshments, and two games of trivia play. Prizes awarded to winning teams. Troy Community Center Fairy & Gnome Gathering – A morning of magic and enchantment. Dress up like a fairy or gnome as you stroll through the enchanted gardens. Make a fairy/gnome garden of your own. Troy Community Center 70’s Night Dance – Dance the night away to music performed by Danny D. Danny will play a captivating tribute show to Rod Stewart’s greatest hits. Inspired by his Rock-n-Roll roots, Danny will make sure you have an enjoyable night of great tunes, and great entertainment. $10 Res / $15 Non. Pre-registration required. Online registration. Greenfield Village Fireworks – Greenfield Village Salute to America Fireworks. Concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture featuring the historic cannon of Loomis Battery. Fireworks display accompanied by live patriotic music to immediately follow. Tickets to Salute to America are available online, through The Henry Ford Call Center (open 7 days a week, 9a-5p) 313-982-6001 and at all admissions counters.
