Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Whitmore Lake Halloween Mystery Movie – at Dusk at Northfield Community Park (next to the Whitmore Lake Post Office). Vote for your favorite family Halloween movie and then come and see which movie was selected. Pizza and snacks for sale. For more info, visit northfieldmi.gov.

Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Discovery at Dusk – wbparks.org Hit the trails for a sunset hike while searching for the animals most active during twilight. You might be lucky enough to spot fireflies. After the hike, bask in the glow of a campfire, roast s’mores and listen to some stories. This is a family program, all children and adults must register. $7 residents / $9 non-residents.
