Birmingham Community Halloween Fun in the Patch – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in kid-friendly costumes and enjoy Halloween on the front lawn amongst the Pumpkin Patch. 1p-7p – Pumpkin Patch, 4p-5p – Children’s Parade with Trick or Treating, 4:15p-5:30p – Storybook time & Halloweenie Roast. Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Birmingham Christmas Town – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Come early and enjoy wonderful music at their Heralds of Christmas concert, featuring their children’s choirs from 3-4 PM in the main sanctuary. Birmingham Memorial Day Events – The annual observance of Memorial Day in Shain Park includes addresses by the Mayor and State Representative, patriotic music, and an introduction of veterans.
