Cowboy & Cowgirl Festival – at Canterbury Village Saturday (9a-1p & 2p-6p) and Sunday (noon-4p)
This festival is a family celebration of cowboy, cowgirls, and the wild west. Stroll throughout the Village and enjoy live music, family activities, cowboy stunt shows, magician juggler performances, the medicine man show, mechanical bull rides, pony carousel, petting zoo, and much more. $10. $5 Parking. Get outside, explore and have fun with this monthly program for children 7-12 years old at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center.Learn about birds, starting fires, stalking animals or catching insects, each month will focus on connecting with the world around us, deepening naturalist knowledge and learning new outdoor skills.
