Kensington Metropark Fireworks – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks festival, bringing together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today. White Lake Winter Carnival – WLCL – at White Lake Inn (248-887-1818). Hosted by the White Lake Citizens League Winter Carnival. The annual winter festival has fireworks, a broomball tournament, kids activities, and more. More info…schedule of events.
Troy Community Center Trivia Night – Gather your team for a Friday night of friendly trivia competition. Registration fee includes dinner (pizza, breadsticks, salad), refreshments, and two games of trivia play. Prizes awarded to winning teams. Troy Community Center Fairy & Gnome Gathering – A morning of magic and enchantment. Dress up like a fairy or gnome as you stroll through the enchanted gardens. Make a fairy/gnome garden of your own. Troy Community Center 70’s Night Dance – Dance the night away to music performed by Danny D. Danny will play a captivating tribute show to Rod Stewart’s greatest hits. Troy Historical Society Summer Kick-Off Open House – Enjoy music by the Dodworth Saxhorn Band, get your Troy Historical Society summer raffle tickets, plus food for purchase and info from a variety of Troy organizations about great summer activities. St Clair Shores Memorial Park Fireworks at Dusk at Memorial Park (Masonic and Jefferson)
Fireworks start at dusk. There is a cost per person (wristbands that are cheaper if you buy them in advance) if you wish to view them at Memorial Park. Pick up your wristbands and optional $5 parking pass from the SCS Parks & Rec Office. Wristbands $5 at the gate the day of the show. Parking passes are limited. Greenfield Village Fireworks – Greenfield Village Salute to America Fireworks. Concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture featuring the historic cannon of Loomis Battery. Fireworks display accompanied by live patriotic music to immediately follow.
