Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
South Lyon Labor Day Bridge Walk – held by the South Lyon Area Recreation Authority in conjunction with other Walks around the state modeled after the LD Mackinac Bridge Walk.
This all-ages event will run along the Huron Valley Rail Trail and through downtown South Lyon MI. It’s is a 2.5 mile walk.
Free Admission for All at Cranbrook Art Museum – In honor of Museum Day, gallery admission is FREE. Advance registration and/or printed Museum Day tickets are not required for free gallery admission at Cranbrook Art Museum. For more info, visit cranbrookartmuseum.org.
Northville Community Center Tiny Pumpkins – from 4p-5p OR 5p-6p (2 Sessions to Choose From). No-scare Halloween fun for kids ages 0-5. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, dancing, coloring, Halloween stations and a costume contest for the Tiny Pumpkins. Parents and Grandparents are welcome at no charge. No candy will be given out at this event. Pre-registration required. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec.

Northville Halloween Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt (2 sessions to choose from) at Thayer’s Corner.
Trick or treating scavenger hunt. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, cider & donuts, pick a pumpkin, story time and other entertainment. Advance ticket sales are sold by specific event time. Please arrive at the event entrance a few minutes before your scheduled time to check in. No on-site registration will be available. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec. Great Lakes Crossing Outlets Santa’s Holiday Kick-Off – at AMC Theatre Parking Lot.
Performances by holiday characters, face painting, balloon animals. First 300 children to stop by the Great Lakes Crossing Outlets table will receive a free gift. Hosted by Great Lakes Crossing Outlets.
