Huntington Woods Halloween Pumpkin Carving & Storytime – Bring a pumpkin and carving utensils with you to carve your pumpkin. Riley Park Ice Rink Choco Valentine Skate – Hershey Kiss Bingo, s’mores, and skating! The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Hosted by the City of Farmington and the Farmington Community Library.

Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park –  S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.

Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on. Huntington Woods Rackham Golf Course Fireworks – Families, bring your lawn chairs, blankets and friends to enjoy the fireworks. Please note, there is restricted parking along Ludlow and Scotia and surrounding streets. For more info, visit www.hwmi.org
