Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Detroit Halloween Bash – Food and drink will be available for purchase. There will be music, a dog costume parade at 6p, pick up a free trick-or-treat bag for your pet, raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing and more. Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Get outside, explore and have fun with this monthly program for children 7-12 years old at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center.Learn about birds, starting fires, stalking animals or catching insects, each month will focus on connecting with the world around us, deepening naturalist knowledge and learning new outdoor skills. Troy Sports Day – Conveniently held at Troy High School, local youth sports organizations will have information and representatives to answer your questions and provide detailed information on their leagues. Canterbury Village Cupcake Crawl – The shops of the village will each feature a different homemade cupcake for you to sample as you stroll the village.
