Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!

You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Come Out and Play @ Catalpa Oaks County Park

Come Out & Play – at Catalpa Oaks County Park . Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out and Play event. During these special days, day camps and members of the public can have fun on the zipline, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower for free. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zipline. A waiver form (click HERE) is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are needed for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights – Southfield MI will host outdoor summer movie nights under the stars as part of their Family Fun Nights hosted periodically throughout the summer.

Previous years have offered fun for the whole family featuring a Kids’ Fun Area with loads of inflatables (you MUST wear socks to participate on the inflatables!), rock climbing wall and more.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit and enjoy the movie. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
