Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Birmingham Community Halloween Fun in the Patch – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in kid-friendly costumes and enjoy Halloween on the front lawn amongst the Pumpkin Patch. 1p-7p – Pumpkin Patch, 4p-5p – Children’s Parade with Trick or Treating, 4:15p-5:30p – Storybook time & Halloweenie Roast. Birmingham Wine Event – ‘Battle of the Palates’ wine event. Bring your favorite red wine and put it to the test in a blind tasting. Hors D’oeuvres and gifts will be available to everyone. Birmingham Christmas Town – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Come early and enjoy wonderful music at their Heralds of Christmas concert, featuring their children’s choirs from 3-4 PM in the main sanctuary. Then, there will be crafts, story time with a guest author, warm hot cocoa, a live petting zoo and a visit with Santa on
Birmingham First Front Lawn (The event will be moved indoors if there is inclement weather.) This is a FREE event hosted by Birmingham First United Methodist Church.
Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Movie Nights in the D at Campus Martius Park – Enjoy award-winning films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during the DDP’s free outdoor movie series. Bring your own chair or blanket for a relaxing summer evening set in the heart of the city. Popcorn is available for purchase.
Birmingham Movie Nights at Booth Park – Enjoy free movie nights in Birmingham MI under the stars at Booth Park. Pre-show entertainment begins at 6:30p. The outdoor movies begin at 7:30. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and don’t forget the popcorn!
