Southfield Halloween Trunk or Treat – Instead of going door-to-door, kids will go from car-to-car, stopping to get treats out of the trunks of vehicles. Dress in your best costume, decorate your trunk, and give out delicious treats. Prizes will be rewarded for the best trunk and the best costume. Troy Community Center Trivia Night – Gather your team for a Friday night of friendly trivia competition. Ferndale Free Movie Nights – Downtown Ferndale MI hosts their Movies in the Parks summer movie series at Schiffer Park this summer with movies at various Ferndale Parks. Bring your lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy a memorable evening under the stars in Downtown Ferndale or a local Ferndale Park. Movie nights are held at Schiffer Park, Wilson Park, and Martin Road Park! Outdoor movie nights in Ferndale this summer begin at 5:30p with pre-show family fun entertainment. Movies start at dusk.

Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry.
