Kensington Metropark Movie Nights – Pack up the family and head out to your Metropark to enjoy a movie under the stars. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs and some popcorn and your favorite snacks and spend a night in the park then settle in to enjoy the show. Arrive early to pick your viewing spot and then before the movie starts enjoy the park. The movie will be shown on an LED screen and start before dark. All ages event. Barkin’ In The Park at Gilbert Willis P (248-624-2850). Hosted by Wixom Parks & Rec. Food, dog walking trail fun pet vendors, K9 show, talent show, and more. A pet photographer will be on hand All pets must be on a leash. This is a FREE event to attend.
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Wixom Panther Hunt and Fall Festival – from 5p-8p (registration starts at 4:30p) at Gilbert Willis Park (Chickasaw St, Wixom, MI 48393)
Hunt for the friendly Wixom Panther on the Trick or Treat Trail. Cost includes Halloween tote, trick or treat trail, pony rides, live entertainment, and a pumpkin for each child. Ages 2-10. Wixom Halloween Spooktacular Downtown Treat Hunt – Downtown Wixom
Downtown Wixom Trick or Treating, making crafts, and magician show. The first 200 children will receive a Spooktacular Treat Bag and the first 150 children will pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. this is a FREE event. Registration is not required. Hosted by the Downtown Wixom DDA.
Sip n Stroll – Downtown Wixom will be hosting its Sip n Stroll. Enjoy an evening out sipping, shopping, and strolling. Live music, games, special vendors, discounts at businesses, and enter to win prizes.
